Praise Team
Psalm 150:1-6 ESV - "Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness! Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe! Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals! "
For Easter, Harvest and Christmas services many people from our congregation come along and sing in the church choir who lead the services and learn new ‘feature pieces’ to provide the congregation space in which to reflect through music ministry. We also have many soloists throughout the year.
Praise in Hazelbank comes in many different shapes and sizes.
On a ‘normal’ Sunday morning service, the praise team will lead the worship. Sunday evenings will be lead from piano, organ or, from time to time, by the praise group.
Once every month, we hold a family service. During this service, we have a mini orchestra made up of people from age 7 and upwards.
As a congregation, we are blessed with musicians and singers and it really adds to the praise and worship in the church.
